The intermediate frequency (VF) power supply
is an update power supply applied in
channel induction furnace, which is different
with traditional main frequency (NF)
power supply and is able to regulating
power capacity by means of working frequency.

Based on the working principle, a serial
compensation circuit to be used on VF power
supply. That means the compensation
capacitors to be connected with induction coil
in series way, viz. it is a R-L-C series resonant
circuit and the relation between power
and working frequency to be shown below.
So, the beneficial function can be shown on the
above curve that more approaching to the
resonant frequency, more active power. Thus
you can regulate the power by changing the

To take a proper designing for the resonant
inverter with series resonant circuit and to set
the resonant frequency approaching to 50Hz,
then this resonant inverter can be applied in
